Born to a fairly wealthy family, Angel never had want for anything. She was considered a miracle child for her parents. She liked people and would spend time with the household staff, talking, helping and having fun. Her best friend, Deborah Parker, was the cook's daughter. Deborah and Angel would volunteer at the hosiptal to help others. Angel learned everything she could about medicine, which would come in handy on December 25, 1886.

Deborah went into labor and Angel delivered the child. The doctor arrived thirty minutes after the birth. He was very impressed with her skills. Angel walked back towards her parents' home where a party was going on. Three blocks away she heard a noise in the shadows of an alley. Angel came upon the robbery and murder of a neighbor. She tried to run for home, screaming. The men caught her and killed her just outside her family's home. Angel died telling her husband that she loved him.

Angel awoke in a coffin, scared to find herself alive and even more so to find herself in a coffin. The coffin was opened by an Asian man, Toshiro Amori. He was an Immortal and would teacher her the Game. They left that night and headed towards England. Toshiro Amori taught her to use a sword, martial arts and to mediate. They became lovers in England.

(1889) Three years later he was killed by another Immortal. Angel never found out who. Toshiro had acquired a lot of money in his lifetime; Angel would never want if she managed it right so she left for Paris. There she met Darius, a kindly priest. She helped him for a couple of years. Then another Immortal came looking for him. She couldn't let him kill Darius. She left and never returned that night. She later sent Darius a note telling him she was alive but needed to leave. (1891)

(1893) She met Reagon Cole as she entered a bar in San Francisco for a brandy. Immediately she found herself liking this woman so they hung around together for several years. Then Reagon decided to leave for England. (1899) After traveling around the world, Angel went back to Paris. Though she never saw Darius, she did meet Sean Burns, a wonderful doctor who welcomed those whose minds had become sick. It intrigued her and she helped in the hospital he worked in. He took her has his pupil. Sean was a wonderful teacher and friend to Angel.

(1919) Angel missed her homeland so she went back to American to travel the country that had grown even more. After five years of travel, she met her husband, Miles O'Conner in Phoenix, Arizona. They were married for five years before she told him the truth. He had accepted her completely.

(1974) Miles O'Conner died of lung cancer in Angel's arms. The hospital staff thought she was the best granddaughter anyone could ever have. She took his remains back to Scotland and buried him in the family plot. (1985) Angel found a scared young woman at a hotel one night. Her boyfriend had beaten her to death. Angel took her in and taught her about the Game and Immortality. They were together until 1993 when Nikki took her first head in anger. Angel said it was time for her survive on her own now. They parted as friends, but Angel feared for her student.

(1996) After living in various places for short periods of time, Angel met Kit O'Brady at the Kentucky Derby. She had bet on his newest horse and it had won. They hit it off immediately. They both met an Immortal named Claudia Jardine after one of her concerts. They were totally surprised that she didn't carry a sword. They spent several months in her company before bidding her farewell and good luck.

(2002) Angel and Kit split up after six years. He wanted to travel and she wanted to stay put for awhile in some small town tucked away from the world. They left as good friends. (2004) Angel discovered her next student while at a restaurant in Chicago. He was her waiter, a pre-Immortal. About three months later she had seen on the 11 o'clock news that a Robert Walton had died in a car accident. The man who died had been the waiter so she got him from the morgue.

They moved to Santa Barbara, California where she taught him what it was to be an Immortal and the Game. (2020) Robert was killed by an Immortal named James Monroe. He tricked Robert into believing that Angel was in danger. Coming to help her, he discovered that he was the one in danger, but it was too late. Monroe took his head and his Quickening. Angel arrived hours later when she had listened to the answering machine. She buried Robert in Santa Barbara, then went looking for Monroe, but he was gone. (2024) Angel moved back to New York City. It has been and always will be home to her. No matter how much it changes.
