Joshua Allen stands at 5'8" and is a very curious individual. He was born into a middle-aged family in Brooklyn, and has always done what was expected of him. He lived the life of any normal child: attended elementary school, middle school, and high school. By the time he reached middle school, he began to join various clubs and organizations: the chess club, the swim team, and of course the computer club. Overall, in middle school, his grades were quite exemplery. His parents died in a car accident following his completion from middle school, and so he lived on his own.
Josh attended Liberty High School in 2015, and joined various clubs there as well. He was well-distingiushed, yet he was harrassed numerous times as a high school student. He was in a gang temporarily, thieving and looting. He eventually found love while in high school. A girl by the name of Ellen Brankov, who dated the star football player in school, had broken up with him, and started taking an interest in Josh. The two went steady after two weeks of getting aquainted with each other. They remained together even through their senior year. During his senior year, he was class vice-president, and Ellen was president. He and his class decided they wanted to take a trip to Asia for their spring break. At first, Josh did not go along with the idea, but after some convincing by Ellen, they went on to Asia.
It was during the spring break in Japan that Josh had his first run-in with an Immortal. He had seen the man kill someone, and was unclear as to what was going on. The Immortal introduced himself as Makoto. At first Josh was scared, seeing that he had killed someone. But in the days he remained in Japan, he met up once again with Makoto, talking about various things. The two quickly struck up a friendship, and when it was time for Josh to head back home in the United States, Josh promised he would invite Makoto to his place, should he visit New York.
Josh graduated from Liberty High as valedictorian of his class. After graduation, he, Ellen, and several of their friends went to club in Manhattan called the "L'amour Eternal Danser". They danced the night away, promising to stay in touch with each other, while they went their separate ways. Josh opted to remain in New York and attend New York University. That did not suit well with Ellen, as she had been accepted to University of California at San Diego. Josh said he would always remember her, but after Josh's and Ellen's friends left, she broke up with Josh at the club, leaving the youth single.
One night, Josh went back to the "L'amour Eternal Danser" night club to try and find someone to fill in the empty void in his life. It was that one night he met another Immortal: Jessica Marie Kensington, who was sitting alone at the club. She noticed Josh looking her way, and made eye contact with the youth. Josh's new friends were discussing their views of women at clubs and Jessica overheard them. Josh ignored his friends' words and danced with her. Josh did not get intimate with Jessica, despite him wanting to. She was nine years older than him, and he did not want to be some mysterious woman's "sugar daddy". But Jessica was not looking for a sugar daddy, just someone who would talk to her and understand her. Josh, though being younger, opted to do just that. He and Jessica had a lot in common, and they talked a little bit.
As of right now, Josh is relaxing after a semester of hard work and demand at New York University.
